I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, depression, postpartum depression/anxiety, transitions to parenthood, emotional abuse, divorce, infidelity recovery, and career transitions. My therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and mindfulness based practice. Virtual services are available. I enjoy helping young adults transition from high school through college and navigate the demands of learning how to be an independent adult. Michelle has been practicing therapy for 20 years and provides counseling in Bothell and Woodinville. Michelle is a single mother of three children ages 13, 17 and 20. She attended Pacific Lutheran University for her degree in Social Work and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Michelle spent 11 years working at Edmonds Community College providing career, academic and personal counseling. She has volunteered with Postpartum Support International of Washington State and led newborn PEPS groups with new mothers.
Michelle is passionate about helping clients through transitions; whether it is marriage, becoming a parent, changing careers, relationship concerns, empty nesting or divorce.
