Michelle has been practicing therapy for 26 years. She has worked in group practices, community colleges, residential treatment and community mental health. Michelle is a single mother of three children ages 18, 22 and 25. She attended Pacific Lutheran University for her degree in Social Work and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Michelle spent 11 years working at Edmonds Community College providing career, academic and personal counseling. She has volunteered with Postpartum Support International of Washington State and led newborn PEPS groups with new mothers. Michelle is trained in the Gottman principles and is a Bringing Baby Home Educator.
Michelle is passionate about helping clients through transitions; whether it is marriage, becoming a parent, changing careers, relationship concerns, empty nesting or divorce. Michelle specializes in surviving infidelity, narcissistic abuse and postpartum depression.
Michelle's personal divorce story has allowed her to have sincere empathy and understanding for all those going through their divorce journey.
In her free time Michelle enjoys time with her young adult children and walking her two dogs, Charlie and Abby.
