I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR-certified trauma therapist, and Certified Divorce Coach® with 29 years of experience helping people heal from emotional abuse, CPTSD, postpartum depression, and life's most painful transitions. I am licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona and offer telehealth and in person sessions (WA), so you can access support from wherever you are.
I earned my degree in Social Work and my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. Over my career I have worked in group practices, community colleges, residential treatment, and community mental health settings. For 11 years I provided career, academic, and personal counseling at Edmonds Community College. I am Gottman trained, a Bringing Baby Home Educator, and have volunteered with Postpartum Support International of Washington State — including leading newborn PEPS groups for new mothers navigating the early postpartum period. I have personally experienced Postpartum Depression and have healed after a painful divorce. Therapy took me from crisis to clarity.
My specialties include EMDR therapy for CPTSD, healing from emotional abuse and narcissistic abuse, therapy for postpartum depression and anxiety, infidelity recovery, and divorce coaching. I use EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness approaches — always tailored to what you specifically need. As a trauma therapist, my goal is not just to help you cope but to help you fully process what happened so it no longer runs your life.
When I am not in session, you will find me walking my two dogs Charlie and Abby, or spending time with my young adult children. I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen by the person sitting across from you — and I bring my whole self to this work.
If you are ready to take the first step, I would love to connect. I offer a free 15 minute consultation for new clients.
